LEARN MORE ABOUT BRYON C. COHEN

Bryon C. Cohen is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1973. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo in 1967 majoring in urban geography.

Mr. Cohen considers himself to be a specialized generalist, relying upon the interdisciplinary skills he acquired in his undergraduate urban geography courses. These skills in his opinion are fundamental to achieving solutions in the business world as well as in the not for profit sector and are reflected in his legal strategies.

By working with a diverse range of business clients at various stages of their development - pre-incorporation through growing pains, acquisitions and tax planned reorganizations, Mr. Cohen has gained valuable insight to the legal and business responses required to attain the desired results.

Mr. Cohen has been involved in a number of community based organizations over the years. At one time he was a director and the vice-president of the Scarborough Business Association, the forerunner to the Scarborough Chamber of Commerce. He is a long time director of Kennedy House Youth Services Inc. and has acquired significant expertise in management issues of not-for-profit organizations as well as with youth related not-for-profit services.

During his career, Mr. Cohen has also given a number of lectures regarding business law, real estate law and estate planning at the invitation of various businesses and government agencies.
